To Be or Not To Be

Today is the day I mourn the possible death of my long hardworking car. It broke down on the side of highway 99 yesterday and it turns out it has a blown head gasket...$1200 to fix. Any of you all who know my car knows it is not worth a quarter of that. So my car is totalled, do I fix it or do I try (probably in vain) to buy another car? I just don't know...nothing to slow you down like a broken car.
